CLUB GRANNY ZA’S NCNFP CONSTITUTION
ARTICLE I: Name of the Club
Section 1: The club shall be known as Club Granny Za’s NCNFP.
ARTICLE II: Purpose of the Club
Section 1: The purpose of Club Granny Za’s NCNFP is to create a community of likeminded art enthusiasts where members can share art-centric experiences with other members.
ARTICLE III: Officers of the Club
Section 1: Elected Officers
1.1 The club shall have the following elected officers in order of rank:
– President
– Vice President
– Secretary
– Treasurer
– Clubs and Events Board Representative
Section 2: Duties of Each Officer
2.1 The duties and responsibilities of each officer shall be outlined in Article IV, Section 1-7 of the club’s bylaws.
Section 3: Term of Office
3.1 The term of office for each elected officer shall be 1 year (12 months).
Section 4: Nominations and Elections
4.1 Nominations and elections of officers shall be conducted in accordance with the procedures outlined in Article IV, Section 8 the club’s bylaws.
ARTICLE IV: Membership
Section 1: General Eligibility for Membership
1.1 Membership shall be open to all individuals without regard to ethnicity, race, color, marital status, religion, national origin, sex, age, handicap, veteran status, or sexual orientation.
Section 2: Joining the Club
2.1 Prospective members must meet the membership criteria specified in Article II, Section 1 of the club’s bylaws.
Section 3: Maintaining Good Standing
3.1 Members must adhere to the rules and regulations outlined in Article II, Section 1 of the club’s bylaws to maintain good standing.
ARTICLE V: Meetings
Section 1: General Meetings
1.1 General meetings of the club shall be held quarterly.
Section 2: Special Meetings
2.1 Special meetings may be called by the President or upon a written request by a majority of club Officers.
2.2 The procedure for calling and conducting special meetings shall be outlined in Article II, Section 5 of the club’s bylaws.
Section 3: Quorum
3.1 A quorum consisting of a majority of club Officers must be present at a meeting in order to transact business legally.
ARTICLE VI: Parliamentary Authority
Section 1: The parliamentary authority for all meetings and proceedings of the club shall be Robert’s Rules of Order.
Section 1.1: The names of elected officials of this club shall remain private information.
Section 1.2: The bylaws of this constitution shall remain private information.
